Wash Stand – painted

This wash stand was painted blue, and I made sure to accent the dove tail joints on the drawer by leaving the drawer it’s original wood patina and just painting the dovetail joint. The top was ironed to lift up a layer of vinyl and then I sanded and stained it to bring out a lovely rich wood grain. Light distressing was applied to highlight structural accents and then I put on glass like knobs to give it bling. Finally, the top was finished with a few layers of varnish to give it a durable finish.
